The Embroiderers’ Guild of Victoria extended a warm, West Coast welcome to all who come to Victoria in May 2019 for a visit and stay to stitch among friends. This was the fifth time that the Embroiderers’ Guild of Victoria hosted an EAC Seminar.
Planning for “Beyond the Edge” consumed us for the past two years. The annual Seminar was held at the University of Victoria, situated on the traditional lands of the WSÁNEĆ (Saanich), Lkwungen (Songhees), and Wyomilth (Esquimalt) peoples of the Coast Salish Nation. The springtime gardens of Victoria were in full bloom – with the rhododendrons especially resplendent in Finnerty Gardens on the grounds of the university.
Thank you for joining us,
Susan Harrington and Barbara Gilbert ◊ Co-chairs, Seminar 2019
