A Jacobean inspired design featuring English Gilt and 2% Gold threads, Gumnuts hand dyed silk threads and highlighted with Garnet and Coral beads.  This Cyber class leads students through the following techniques:  preparing the working frame, transferring the design, padding with felt, applying Organza and Kid Leather, Long and Short Stitch (Silk Shading), working Burden Stitch and 60 degree Trellis, couching in Brick Stitch with Couching threads and Twists, couching Pearl Purl, applying Grecian, chipping with Purl, laying Purl formally and applying Paillettes.
